Owner Tim Rost initially started Rost Landscaping in 1985. Rost Landscaping then added Tim’s wife, Toby, expanding the company’s potential and growth. Their growth includes adding Superior Garden Center, Salt Creek Tree Farms, Rost Maintenance, Rost Wholesale and sister company Rost Superior Services.

In the last 20 years, Rost Inc. has grown from one employee landscaping part time to several divisions and approximately 95 employees. Thank you again for your continued business!

This service began in 2000 and has grown to include accounts both commercial and residential. This is service is perfect for individuals who love their surroundings but lack the time or energy to take care of their gardens or landscape.

Superior Garden Center
Superior Garden Center

A retail outlet for garden and landscape needs. Superior Garden Center provides an extensive inventory of large trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, garden accessories, and pottery. The garden center also provides services such as delivery, custom potting, and gardening classes, special community and customer events, and planting for material purchased at the garden center.

Rost Wholesale
The wholesale division is open to licensed landscapers and contractors in Missouri and Kansas. A 20 acre facility is host to an extensive inventory of large trees, shrubs, perennials, rock, bulk goods and other landscape materials.

Salt Creek Tree Farms
The tree farms encompass 500 acres of tree production to supplying inventory at the retail and wholesale level. Inventory is sold within Rost, Inc. and to the nursery industry in the Midwest including Kansas City, st. Louis, Kansas and Colorado.
